Microsoft deploys two-factor authentication to all services
In a major move that has the potential to make the Internet much safer, Microsoft today announced that it is making available what its calling “two-step verification” to some 700 million Microsoft account holders.
Microsoft thus joins Google and Apple in making a two-factor authentication systems available – as an option – to users of the web’s most popular Internet services.
